Jon Goss is a Professor in the Department of Geography at University of Hawai`i, Manoa and is Director of the International Cultural Studies Certificate Program of UHM and the East-West Center. He teaches courses on the geography of Southeast Asia and conducts research on development in Indonesia. He is co-editing a book on the recent communal conflicts in Eastern Indonesia.
