Garrett Solyom is a noted expext on Southeast Asian textiles. His presentation focused on Western Adaptations in Southeast Asian Art and presented examples from his extensive slide collection. Garrett brought a rich assortment of artifacts from his personal collection for display in order to further demonstrate key points from his presentation and to stress the "outward looking traditions" of the region.
