Jack Suyderhoud is Professor of Business Economics, Department of Financial Economics and Institutions, College of Business Administration, University of Hawai`i at Manoa. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Purdue University in 1978 and has published in a number of scholarly journals. Dr. Suyderhoud has been a consultant to the State of Hawai`i, Governments of American Samoa, Guam, and the County of Hawai`i, the National Education Association, the Pacific Basin Development Council, and numerous Hawai`i businesses and labor organizations. Dr. Suyderhoud has taught in business programs in Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and France.
